We welcome a speaker at the start of each monthly meeting. We endeavour to find a mix of speakers that are entertaining and informative, sometimes with demonstrations or chance to take part in a workshop. This is followed by social time with tea and coffee and then our business meeting to bring us up to date with what is going on locally, county-wide and at national level. There are numerous opportunities to take get involved in a variety of activities organised by our WI and across the county. Twice yearly we meet as a group of six local WIs, giving us the chance to engage a more high profile speaker and to exchange ideas with other WI members. |
