At our monthly meetings we welcome a speaker at the start of the meeting.  We endeavour to find speakers that are entertaining, informative and humorous.  This is followed by social time with tea and coffee and then our business meeting to bring us up to date with what is going on locally and county-wide.  This is an opportunity to learn about what is going on in the wider WI both at a local, county and national level.  There are numerous opportunities to take advantage of a variety of activities organised by the local WI and across the county.  Twice yearly we meet as a group of six local WIs, an opportunity to engage a more high profile speaker and to exchange ideas with members of other local WIs.
