The funeral of  Halina Simpson took place on Friday, 9th October 2020.  Halina was our president for four years between April 2015 and April 2019. Flowers in Holy Trinity church were arranged by members of  West Lulworth WI and specifically coloured white and red, this being the colour of the Polish national flag, in recognition of Halina's Polish heritage.  WI members formed a guard of honour outside the Church.  Due to the 2020 Corona Virus pandemic a maximum of 30 people were allowed in the church and the proceedings were streamed online and a video made available for those who could not be at the church.   Click here for video of the funeral.
